FEV wurde im Jahr 1978 von Prof. Franz Pischinger gegründet, der damals den Lehrstuhl für Angewandte Thermodynamik an der RWTH Aachen leitete. Als Start-Up mit zunächst vier Mitarbeitern begonnen, folgt FEV konsequent seiner Maxime „Feel EVolution“ und ist dank einzigartigem Pioniergeist und Innovationskraft kontinuierlich gewachsen.
