In engineering design，the special positioning information is very important for engineering construction and procurement. Because there is not available function of item positioning in Intergraph Smart 3D, users have to spend a lot of time in filling in position information of items. SNERDI Room Net Capacity Auto-Calculation software can positioning items in rooms and calculate room’s net capacity automatically.

SNERDI Room Net Capacity Auto-Calculation software can automatically calculate item’s room location information after users modeling rooms by using space management module. It will get all points, lines and faces constituting rooms and items and then calculate location relationship between them automatically by custom arithmetic. For pipe stock part, duct stock part, conduit stock part and cable tray stock part which could not get constituent points, lines and faces, the software will generate space objects according to cross-section and features.

The software can also calculate each room’s net capacity to offer data for following analysis work by calculating each room’s volume and each item’s volume in the room and then subtracting interference volume between items and rooms from room’s volume. It can also offer users detail information about each room’s volume and each item’s volume.

All analysis results could be downloaded from software to be used in following working.

SNERDI Room Net Capacity Auto-Calculation software can liberate user from calculating relative works manually and save much time for users. It can also improve working efficiency for all works done automatically and reduce human factor errors.
